JAC Board Class 12th Model Paper 2025 : Jharkhand Academic Council Ranchi JAC Board has released the model question paper for the 2025 board examination of Inter i.e. Class XII of Science, Commerce, Arts. Any student who wants to download the model question paper can download it from Jharkhandlab.net or the official website of JAC Board. All the students are told that the students must try the model question paper because the model question paper is issued by the JAC Board and from the model question paper, the students can guess their exam pattern and syllabus and whatever new syllabus or new exam pattern is there, the model question paper is issued on this exam pattern or new syllabus and sometimes it has also been seen that questions are also asked from the model question paper in the board exam, so the students must do the model question paper. JAC Board Class 12th Science, Arts, Commerce Model Paper Year 2019 to 2025
As every year, the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the model question papers for the Class 12 board exams of 2025. All students appearing for the 2025 board examinations are strongly advised to practice these model question papers. These papers are prepared based on the latest syllabus and exam pattern, ensuring that the questions align with what students can expect in the actual board exams.
The model papers contain questions taken directly from the updated syllabus and follow the exact format of the board exam, helping students get familiar with the structure and type of questions. Students from all three streams Science, Commerce, and Arts can download the model question papers for their respective subjects here.
In addition, previous years’ model papers are also available for download, offering students a comprehensive practice resource. The JAC Board has not changes to the Class 12 exam pattern this year. In the board exams, 30% objective questions will be asked and 50% subjective questions will be asked out of which 20% will be given by the school in the form of internal assessment. No OMR sheet will be given to the students in the exam. The students will be given an answer sheet where they will have to write the answers.

When will JAC Board Class 12th Model Paper 2025 be released?
Like every year, this time too JAC Board will release the model question paper before the examination. This model question paper will be based on the new syllabus and new exam pattern. The model question paper is released by the board 1 or 2 months before the examination and it is expected that the model question paper will be released in the month of December or January because the class 12 board examination can be conducted in February. month of December or January because the class 12 board exam can be conducted in February-march 2025.
Exam Pattern
This time, Jharkhand Board has decided to conduct the matriculation and intermediate examinations only once, in which students will be asked objective questions of 30 marks and subjective questions of 50 marks.
The secondary and intermediate examinations of the year 2024 will be conducted in the same term.
The secondary examination will be conducted through question-cum-answer book and the intermediate examination will be conducted through a plain answer book of 24 pages. The process of conducting the examination through OMR sheet is canceled with immediate effect.
In the secondary and intermediate examinations of the year 2024, questions of 30% marks of multiple choice nature, questions of 50% marks of short-answer, long-answer, etc. nature and the remaining 20% marks have been set for internal assessment.
- In multiple choice questions, four options (A, B, C & D) will be given for selecting the correct answer. It will be necessary to write the correct option along with the answer mentioned in it in the answer sheet. For example-
Question number – 1. (A) ABC (B) MNO (C) PQR (D) TUV
If the answer (C) of question number – 1. is correct, then the candidate will be required to write the answer as question number- 1.- (C) PQR on the answer sheet.
The candidate will mark the answers of questions of multiple choice nature (MCQ), short answer, long answer, etc. on the question-cum-answer booklet (for secondary examination) and plain answer booklet (for intermediate examination) provided by the council, i.e. only question-cum-answer booklet/plain answer booklet will be provided by the council, in which it will be mandatory to mark the answers of the questions.
A total of 52 questions will be asked in the board examination of the students.
Note: The same pattern will be followed in the board exams of 2025 as well.
